Dear Friends,
Grace and peace to you as we turn the page into a new year. January always invites us to pause, breathe, and lean into the work God has set before us with renewed hope. I am grateful for each of you and for the ways you continue to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with faithfulness, creativity, and enthusiasm. Your ministry truly matters as we seek to love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously.
As we begin 2026, I look forward to our upcoming clergy consults. These conversations are important touchpoints for prayer, support, and shared vision, and I am eager to hear how the Spirit is moving in your congregations and in your lives.
January will also bring our District Leadership Training via Zoom. Please encourage all who serve on committees — from SPRC and Finance to Trustees and Church Council — to attend these sessions. They are designed to equip leaders with practical tools, fresh perspectives, and a grounding in our shared mission. Strong, well-prepared lay leadership strengthens the whole body of Christ.
Thank you for the steady, faithful work you do day after day. As we step into this new year together, may God renew your energy, deepen your joy, and guide your path.
In Christ’s service with you,
