All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time.
When you give it to them, they gather it up.”

This Psalm celebrates how every part of creation—including birds that catch fish—depends on God’s provision. A cormorant skillfully diving, catching a fish, and flipping it into the air is a vivid example of creatures “gathering” the food God provides.
