Driving with David: Glory to God

Posted on

“No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,”
Romans 4:20

A profound word from Romans concerning Abraham’s faith. It reminds me of the television commercials with the simple words, “Got milk?”

Strong faith? Give glory to God.

Thankful for the opportunity to share fellowship with the good folks who’ve been gathering at Seven Sounds every fourth Sunday afternoon. What a joy to hear great music, lift our voices in song, and give glory to God! It’s a great way to connect with others and make new friends, along the living waters of the Pasquotank River flowing outside.

As we enter this season after Pentecost, might we find ways to grow in grace, to give glory to God, and experience a stronger faith.

Sharing a reflection that perhaps captures an experience you may be having or had in your own journey:

Liminal Life

Learning to look forward
Leaning into next
Letting go
Life

Anxiety is so real
Worry too much
Loosening up
Life

Overwhelmed with the tasks
Seeking some solace
Heavily favored
Life

Frustrated by the challenges
Searching for sanity
Pursuing peace
Life

Struggling to find purpose
Eager to understand
Finding courage
Life

Leaning with you,
David
