Winning Them to Jesus
All my life I have been consumed with introducing others to someone I met personally when I was 12 years old. My childhood was spent in my small rural United Methodist Church. I knew about Jesus because I sang the hymns in church and listened to the stories in Sunday School that told about this person Jesus. But when in annual revival held in my home church I met Jesus personally, things changed forever.
Peace like I had never known was my new existence. Prayers took on new conversation. I will never forget when sitting with another person the change in their countenance when they invited Christ into their heart. They encountered the same Savior that had found us both. I can think of no other thing that is more important than to introduce someone else to Jesus. The first way you introduce Christ is by living the life. If someone cannot see Jesus in you then chances are your words will be an empty noise and waste of your time and the other person’s time as well.
Take time everyday and every moment to spend time with Jesus. Welcome the change that takes place in your nature as you spend more time with Jesus in prayer and reading scripture. It will transform your life. Your life transformed will witness to someone else and open the door for you to make an introduction. This day there are more opportunities to introduce someone to Christ because of the growing number of people who do not know a personal relationship with Jesus. And remember you cannot introduce someone that you do not know. Take time to get Jesus, so that you can give Jesus.
Keep on Keeping on Winning them to Jesus,
