The Season is Upon Us
John 4:35, KJV: “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.“
First, your personal relationship with Christ. Have you talked with Jesus today? Take the time to listen and discern what Jesus is saying to you. Fill yourself up with all that Christ is pouring into you right now. You are precious to God. Before you can ever have a relationship with anyone else it is necessary to know how loved and valued you are by God. God so loved you that Jesus gave up His life for you. With this kind of love for you, we are drawn into a personal relationship with Jesus. It is therefore easy to become self-consumed in a relationship with Jesus and become so heavenly minded that we lose perspective on the world around us. So after taking care of first things, first; it is important to remember the second most important thing.
Second, realize that the plan of God is for ALL. So, just as God through Christ in the Holy Spirit is transforming you, you are being equipped as an instrument, to be used by God, to transform someone else. Who today will see Christ in you? You may never know that your life impacted someone else. Many times it is not in anything you say. It is because you have a vital, transformed life in Christ, that others notice that there is something different about you. They are drawn to the Christ in you. Jesus uses you in ways that you could have never adequately planned for the effectiveness that Christ has purposed. Because you took care of your relationship with Christ, Jesus is able to take care of someone else in their need through you.
When crops ripen in the field, there is a window of harvest that is timely. We are in a timely moment of harvest. As we approach the holiday season begin now to be intentional in taking time to nurture your relationship with Jesus. Speak with Jesus often. Listen for the voice of Christ in the Holy Scriptures. Live out your calling by being obedient to the ministry of Christ. You have been changed. Be the change for others.
Winning them to Jesus,
